Co-founder of Aslett-Kurica Eye Center, Ronald S. Aslett, M.D., has practiced ophthalmology for more than 25 years. Dr. Aslett went to Texas Tech University Medical School. After studying in Texas, he completed both an internal medicine residency and an ophthalmology residency at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. With a goal of serving the River Parishes, Dr. Aslett and his fellow co-founder opened an eye center in LaPlace and continually assist patients in need of eye health care.

With extensive training and years of experience, Dr. Aslett can correct an extensive range of eye problems. He performs numerous treatments including cataract and refractive laser surgery and in-office glaucoma treatment. He is committed to being on top of the latest advances in ophthalmology and has a conservative and thoughtful approach to his patient’s needs.

Dr. Aslett is an avid bicyclist and photographer who enjoys the outdoors.
